Far North District Council

Far North District Council (FNDC) covers a wide area, stretching from halfway between Whangarei and the Bay of Islands to the very top of New Zealand. While its subtropical climate is very popular with holidaymakers, its rugged terrain and geographical isolation make it one of the more sparsely populated district council territories in New Zealand.

“The advice I would give to other councils is to think outside the box. This is not just about numbers, but business processes and a much broader tool. TechnologyOne is not just an accounting package with reports, but a really powerful business management tool that is easy to use.” Ian Sivyer, General Manager Finance and Business.

East Gippsland Water

The East Gippsland Region Water Corporation was set up in 1995 to amalgamate an area formally administered by four Water Boards. The organisation covers an area equalling approximately 10 per cent of Victoria and provides water services to 22,816 households and wastewater services to 19,088 customers. East Gippsland Region Water Corporation provides the full range of retail water supply functions, including water harvesting and storage, water treatment, urban water supply, and wastewater collection, treatment, disposal and re-use, as well as trade waste services to small industrial and commercial customers.

"We’ve now got some great products, and if we were to do it all again I’m sure that we would make the same decision to go with TechnologyOne.” Robert Carlesso, Executive Manager Finance and Customer Service.

Community Alliance Credit Union

Community Alliance Credit Union (CACU) has approximately 32,000 members, more than $450 million in assets, operates 26 ATMs and 9 branches between Nowra and Campbelltown, and employs approximately 100 people.

"Managers are now owning their budgets and taking pride in beating the targets. Customised dashboards dynamically present budget versus actual data so managers can see the impact of their decisions in real time, which empowers them to respond to the changing market with more timely decisions.  Greg Parrish, Executive Manager Corporate Services.

Queanbeyan City Council

Aptly described as ‘country living with city benefits’, the city of Queanbeyan is only 10kms from Parliament House in the National Capital, Canberra. With a population of over 37,500, Queanbeyan is part of a vibrant region, which includes Canberra and the southern tablelands.

“The driver for us was the new integrated planning legislation; it was really requiring integrated solutions to make things run smoothly." Mark Johnson, Finance Manager.
